This Crinkle-Cut Wave Slicer creates crinkle-cut and waffle fries, wavy potato chips, and decorative fruits and vegetables. Its sharp, sturdy stainless steel blade cuts hard potatoes and apples with little effort, and is much easier to use and clean than a mandolin slicer. It's ideal for making homemade crinkle fries and ridged potato chips, wavy cucumber slices for making pickle chips, crinkle-cut vegetables for eye-catching presentations, or chopping ingredients for making egg salad, cobb salad, and more. For crinkle cuts, position the blade over food and slice down firmly. To create waffle cuts, slice food once vertically, rotate the food 90-degrees, make another vertical slice, and continue to rotate food 90-degrees after each slice.
